Vacant Home Staging

A furnished and inviting home is essential. Statistically, it is much harder to sell a vacant home. Design To Market Home Staging will create a warm and inviting setting in your home. We have a vast inventory of furniture and accessories that will fit your specific demographic and market.

It is difficult to compete in today’s real estate market with a vacant home. Photos of vacant properties do not drive showing activity in the same way as a well-appointed furnished home. Another challenge is that vacant homes magnify flaws as there is less to focus on when a prospective buyer tours the home.

Additionally, only 10% of the population can visualize an empty room with their own furnishings. Design To Market Home Staging has an inventory of furniture, artwork, and decorative items that are appropriate to stage homes of many different styles and price points. We are continually purchasing and refreshing our inventory to keep current with the styles prevalent in the market. Our focus with our staging projects is to give an identity and personality to the home that will connect with prospective buyers. By staging a vacant home we are assisting buyers to understand unique floor plans and delivering a vision of the potential for a given property.

The vacant staging process begins with a visit to the home by a Design to Market Home Staging professional(s) where a selection of rooms to be staged is determined. This home staging selection typically ranges from 4-6 rooms and varies based on the size of the home. After visiting the home, a quote is prepared and presented to the homeowner. With approval of the project, the home is staged within 3-5 business days and professional MLS photos are taken so that the Realtor can list or update the information on the web. The many types of vacant staging clients are: individual homeowners, investors, corporate relocation clients, estate executors, to rental property owners.
